STEAM learning potentially involves many different crafts such as designing, drawing, building, coding, etc. Becoming a master craftsperson is what is important.

Community Events

FOR STEAM holds many different types of events throughout the year, from informational meetings, to fundraisers and other get-togethers.

Field Trips

STEAM students have the opportunity to participate in various day field trips as well as overnight trips with the STEAM Academy or other Reed Smaller Learning Communities.


FOR STEAM supports the VEX IQ robotics team, RoboReed, and the MESA Engineering team.

We even raised the funds to build a STEAM Lab in the science classroom!


Google Chromebooks and other technology for STEAM students and teachers to use for research and collaboration in the classroom.
